“Be Stewards of the Grace of the Spirit”

On Sunday, June 1, Pope Francis addressed 52,000 people from 55 countries gathered for the Italian Renewal in the Spirit’s (RNS) National Convocation at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. This event was organized with ICCRS and the Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities and Fellowships.
Pope Francis prayed that God might grant to all “holy intoxication of the Spirit, that enables us to speak many languages, the languages of charity, always close to those brothers and sisters who need us. Teach us not to fight between ourselves over a little more power…teach us to increasingly love the Church that is our ‘team’, and to keep our hearts open to receive the Holy Spirit.” As we prepare for Pentecost, may our Lord find our hearts open to be filled again so that we may “go forth onto the streets and evangelize, proclaiming the Gospel!”
