Equipping for the Mission
Jesus sent and sends his disciples out to proclaim the Good News ( Mt 28:16-20) and Paul taught that the charisms are to build up the body and for our outreach (1 Cor 12, Eph 4:11f) Pope John Paul II challenges us in Novo Millennio Ineunte, “The missionary mandate accompanies us into the Third Millennium and urges us to share the enthusiasm of the very first Christians: we can count on the power of the same Spirit who was poured out at Pentecost and who impels us still today to start out anew sustained by the hope ‘which does not disappoint’ (Rm 5:5).” (58)
The Conference Schedule is designed to meet those needs:
Workshops include:
Conference Registration Please click here There are Spring, Summer and Regular rates.
Housing We have arranged for a block of rooms at the Hilton North Raleigh Hotel at the low Conference rate of $92 per night plus 12.5% tax . This rate applies up to 4 persons per room.
Please Note: While there are other hotels in the area, this is the only hotel for which we have a room block and discounted rates. Please note that the NSC has obtained this room rate by contracting for a total meeting package requiring certain minimum hotel room and food pickup or the NSC will face attrition charges. In order for the NSC to continue to provide a reasonable registration fee, we need your help. Please take advantage of the room rate we have negotiated.
Housing Registration For reservations, use one of the following methods: 1) call 800-Hiltons and refer to CRC. 2) reserve a room online at http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/groups/personalized/RDUNHHF-CRC-20091021/index.jhtml
